Online applications are available here. Families will receive information confirming meal benefit status after the application is processed.

Cash payment for meals is expected until the confirmation letter is issued. To set up your family portal and to make online deposits to your child's account click here.  Please note that if your student attends a free site there is no need to apply for free or reduced meals.  

Free or reduced price meals cannot be provided without prior approval. You may apply at any time during the school year if your household size goes up, income goes down, or if you start getting Food Assistance, FIP, or other benefits.

If you lose your job, your children may be able to get free or reduced price meals. The reduced price breakfast is $.30 and the reduced price lunch is $.40 for all grade levels.

School meals are economical, often costing less than what you spend to prepare meals at home.  The Food & Nutrition Services Department strives to keep the meal prices low while maintaining quality and nutritional standards.  The larger portions and more variety increase the cost of meals to older students.

Families will be expected to pay full price for both breakfast and lunch meals unless families apply and qualify for the free or reduced meal prices. Below are this year’s lunch prices:

Unflavored milk is available in 1% fat and fat-free (skim). Fat-free chocolate milk is offered daily. Strawberry milk is offered on an occasional basis. The meal price includes 1-8 oz. carton of milk. Additional cartons of milk may be purchased for $.65 per carton. This includes the purchase of milk to accompany meals brought from home.

Intermediate and High schools offer a variety of snack items and beverages for purchase, including baked chips, water, 100% juice, sport drinks and baked cookies. If you wish to limit snack purchases, limits may be placed on an account by contacting the site manager directly. Students purchases may be viewed through the online menu payment system.

Ala carte/extra food will no longer be able to be purchased by students if their is not sufficient money in your child's account. Ala carte entree is $2.45. 

Please visit our new Titan/LINQ Family Portal site at https://linqconnect.com/ to set up your family portal. There you can add funds to your student's accounts, view transactions, set up spending limits, and many other functions.

Program Goal: Provide nutritious, appetizing meals for students at a reasonable price in a clean environment.
The Child Nutrition Program offers nutritious breakfasts and lunches at every school building. Proper nutrition is fundamental for the success of academic programs. Our meals meet the USDA Nutrition Standards, which require the following: Age-appropriate calorie limits, Daily servings of both vegetables and fruits (students must take at least one serving, but may take up to 3-4 servings), A wide variety of vegetables, including dark green and red/orange vegetables and legumes, Fat-free or 1% milk (flavored milk must be fat-free), Whole grains, Less sodium.

School meals support nationwide goals to eat more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains daily. Now is a great time for students to choose school lunch!

All Students:  All meal purchases are to be paid at time of service.  Students may pay by cash or check during meal service but are encouraged to prepay into student accounts.  For convenience, the district offers an online payment system.  Account balance and daily purchases may be monitored through the online system. 

All students will be allowed to receive a lunch (unless communicated to the district in writing by a parent or guardian). Families are encouraged to complete an application for meal benefits.

If your family is experiencing financial difficulty, please contact the cafeteria manager or the Food & Nutrition Office for assistance. Outstanding meal charges at year-end will be applied to the student school fee statement and will carry over until paid in full.

Request for Meal Modifications / Special Diets
If your child has dietary restrictions such as an allergy to certain foods, please fill out a Diet Modification Request Form and submit it to your school’s office/nurse. You will need to obtain a signed, physician’s order for dietary accommodations if your child has a life threatening allergy or medical condition requiring special dietary consideration. A Registered Dietitian will review the diet modification request to determine if dietary modifications will be accommodated.
